I’m writing to report an issue that many players are experiencing when trying to play Legends multiplayer.
I am playing on PlayStation with NAT Type 3 due to my ISP (a 4G router). Because of this, I am unable to join or host multiplayer sessions in Legends mode. From what I’ve seen in community discussions, a large number of players around the world are facing the same problem. In some regions, especially where mobile internet or CGNAT connections are common, NAT Type 3 is unavoidable.
This effectively prevents players from accessing an important part of the game, even though their internet connection works normally for other online services.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because other developers have addressed similar problems in the past after player feedback. For example, FromSoftware improved connectivity issues in Elden Ring’s online systems after players reported NAT-related matchmaking problems.
It would be great if future updates could improve compatibility with NAT Type 3 networks, or provide alternative matchmaking methods so that players with restricted networks can still enjoy Legends mode.
Thank you for your time and for the work you’ve put into the game.
